RETECH 2012 Keynote Presentation
At this year’s State of the Union address, the current administration indicated that it was adopting an “All of the Above” approach to energy policy to help lead the United States down a road to greater energy independence. While this was a positive development for the renewable energy industry, 2012 still finds the renewable energy industry facing an uncertain future. Currently, there are more renewable energy projects both completed and in the planning and construction phase than at any other time. Our roads now have more clean fueled vehicles on them. While the renewable energy industry is at its greatest point in development, elections, both on the federal and the state levels, loom just three weeks after RETECH that will have enormous ramifications on the industry – continued grants and tax credits from the government, adoption and/or expansion of renewable energy into power generating company portfolios and continued job growth, just to name a few items. RETECH 2012 keynote speakers set the context for the conference, provoke thought and ideas from our attendees and inspire innovators by sharing their vision for the industry and success of renewable energy in the United States and throughout the world. Our keynote presenters will represent the major players in renewable energy – namely, a power generation company and the federal government.
