Smarter Energy: optimizing and integrating renewable energy resources
Organized by IBM

»» Wednesday, October 17th 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

The energy industry has made great strides in deploying new resources for renewable power generation in the U.S. and beyond. Renewable energy comprises from 10 - 20% of total energy capacity mix in some states and countries. With renewable generation now making up such a significant portion of the total, integration and management of renewable resources needs to shift from “boutique” to industrial scale. Information systems that enable analytics and optimization are critical for developing efficient and flexible operations, and helping to mitigate risk.

Advanced analytics can help increase availability, reduce capital and operational expenditure, and improve dispatch of renewables. This is a pivot point for the industrialization of renewable energy.

Join stakeholders from utilities, research, industry organizations, and IBM as we explore the industrial-scale integration and management of renewable energy resources and reveal critical insights into how projects can best be sited, deployed, integrated, and maintained to maximize efficiency and returns.

Limited seating, reservation recommended. Please RSVP to Gerard Dusastre at gerardd@ca.ibm.com. Attendees who RSVP in advance will be provided a detailed agenda with topics, speakers and panelists’ information.
